Moycullen Heritage invite you for a leisurely walk and talk, taking in the natural and built heritage of Killagoola in Moycullen Village, Co. Galway.

Local ecologist, Catriona Carlin, will demonstrate the magnificent biodiversity of the area from the Clydagh bridge overlooking the River Kip leading us to the foot of Crú Hill where local historian, Vincent Walsh, will give us a tour and talk at the 5th century church and holy well ruins of Teampall Éanna.

Walk will also take in the commemoration site of John Geoghegan who was shot during the war of independence, former mill sites, and you will hear the story of a Killagoola native who left the area in the 1850s and founded a town in Kansas and became the first probate judge of Marshall County.

Our walk along the River Kip and onto the Teampall Éanna site is suitable for all levels but the Teampall Éanna site is not wheelchair accessible.
Parking is available at An Fuaran in the village centre and is approximately 15 mins walk from Clydagh Bridge.

We look forward to seeing you!
