The Churches of Killiney Village

22 August, 3pm - 4:30pm

  • Entrance to Killiney Hill Park
  • Killiney Hill Road
  • A96HF38
  • Co. Dublin – Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown

Local historian, Alice Cullen, will introduce this event with an explanation of the development of Killiney Hill Park. A short stroll will then bring us to Holy Trinity Church where history enthusiast, David Millar, will explore, in our company, this beautiful building which has a Harry Clarke stained glass window. The Church was designed by Sydham Sykes and opened in 1859. We will then visit the modern Church of Saint Stephen. This small Chapel of Ease won an Architectural Award in 1984 and is graced with altar furniture by Imogen Stuart and glass by Helen Moloney
