Sigginstown Castle Tour 3:00 pm Daily

17 - 25 August, 3:30pm - 5pm

  • Sigginstown Castle
  • Sigginstown, Tacumshane
  • Co. Wexford

Tour of Sigginstown Castle - a 16th century tower and 17th century Big House. Hear about the families who built and lived in the castle before falling into ruin and being brought back to life. The story of our ongoing renovation can be seen on The Great House Revival TV show (RTE1 Season 3, Episode 6) - we’re almost done now!

Tour goes up all 5 stories of tower with handrails on both sides of stairs. Rooms are elaborately decorated with period (recreated) motifs, and in fine weather at the top of the tower you will see the views of Tacumshin Lake and the Celtic Sea. Tour takes about 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Advance booking recommended during Heritage Week. All visitors must sign a safety waiver.

Please enter by main road. Norman Way sign next to gate. Do not turn down cul-de-sac road as that gate will not be open.

Seating available at each floor of tower as we go up.

All animals must be on leash and no animals are allowed inside.
