Sigginstown Castle Flax and Fiber Day

Join us for Flax and Fiber day at Sigginstown Castle! We will be working with flax in the various stages, grown locally. See and try the equipment that turns flax into fiber, suitable for spinning. We will also have wool to compare spinning,

Event will be held in a large barn with cover. Any fiber people wishing to bring their own projects for demonstration or participation are welcome (please contact us in advance if possible)

Tours of the castle are optional and available at 1:30 and 3:30 Booking (paid) tours in advance is recommended during Heritage Week.

Please enter at main gate on Norman Way - don’t turn down the cul-de-sac road. Parking available in field. If extremely inclement weather we may move indoors to the new coach house area.
