Nature Walk at Saleen Creek
Saleen Creek lies at the eastern side of Cork Harbour, adjacent to Saleen village.
The Saleen Creek area has a wide range of habitats including an estuary, streams, salt marshes, sea walls and gravel banks and therefore a wide range of animal and plant life. Join us on this nature walk, led by ecologist Karen Loxton, to learn about the variety of nature in the area.
The nature walk will start adjacent to the site of the stone wall conservation project funded by the Heritage Council under its Community Heritage Grant Scheme 2025.
This event is supported by the Heritage Council and Cork County Council.
