The eerie remnants of a once primary, rural peat industry lie abandoned amongst the peat. Machines regularly seen and heard on the industrial bog landscape of the past, now lie silent and unused.
Local photographer, Joe McGrath has been documenting these remnants through his photographic collection, a poignant memory of an industry that was part rural communities and culture.
Exhibition will run from Sunday 18th - 25th of August inclusive during normal Visitor Centre visiting hours of 10.00am - 5.00pm. Last admission & final tour of the day is at 5.00pm.
Car Park shuts at 6.00pm sharp during Heritage Week unless otherwise stated
