Recital on the 49-bell Carillon of St Colman's Cathedral in Cobh

As part of this year’s Heritage Week celebrations, join us for a special guest carillon recital at the iconic Cobh Cathedral. The performance will be given by Oisín Dilger, a prize-winning music graduate from University College Cork and a rising star in the world of carillon music.

Oisín studied under renowned Cobh Cathedral Carillonneur Adrian Gebruers and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies at the prestigious Royal Carillon School in Mechelen, Belgium.

Experience the unique sound of the cathedral’s historic carillon in this one-of-a-kind musical event that celebrates both cultural and musical heritage.

Particularly good listening places are the Garden of Remembrance across the road from the main Cathedral entrance and the car park to the north of the Cathedral. The public can view the instrument being played live on a screen within the Cathedral.
