Open studio and Introductory Bladesmithing Workshop

After the success of last years free introductory Bladesmiths course, we would like to return again, this time adding some open studio slots in the week prior to running the workshop.

During the free workshop, students will learn some of the fundamental skills of traditional and modern bladesmithing under the guidance of multi award winning artist and craftsman Sam Gleeson.

Tickets for the event will be issued on a raffle basis closer to the time advertised through social media channels.

Each student will work with their hands and tools for the day to produce their own culinary knife

The open studio slots will give people a chance to call into the studio, see some of the work that goes into Sams award winning knives and the up coming Under One Roof Arts and Crafts school project

Toilet facilities available on site and parking for all involved - Apologies but site and workshop not currently suitable for wheelchair access.
Please wear non-flammable trousers and long sleeved clothing. PPE will be provided but guests are welcome to bring their own if they prefer.
A light lunch and refreshments will be available so dietary requirements will be required from successful candidates.
