Open Day at Castletown Gate Houses, Celbridge

To celebrate National Heritage Week 2025, Castletown Gate House and Round House will be open on Sunday 24th August from 10am to 4pm. This is a free event offering a self-guided tour of these charming gate houses, now restored as self-catering accommodation. Having just undergone some interior improvements, visitors can take a step back in time while exploring the conservation work undertaken by Irish Landmark Trust.

There is parking available in Celbridge, the town is also well served by public transport.
