Mumming and Music Evening at Sigginstown Castle

Join us for an evening of Mumming and Music at Sigginstown Castle. This year we will host it indoors in the new Coach House Cafe. The Sigginstown Mummers will perform a short 10 minute historical play - a traditional play that has its roots over several hundred years with stock characters: Doctor, Dragon, Prince George and more! If you would like to be a mummer and are locally available for a rehearsal that day or day before, please contact us! We hope to also have some of the traditional Wexford mummers perform the steps and stick strikes that characterizes the evolution of the play into the current Wexford form - all Mummers welcome (if your group would like to perform, please contact us!). An open music session follows the mumming - please bring your instruments, voices and hands to clap.

Coach House Cafe has ramps and accessible toilet. However the fields and gravel paths are not fully accessible by wheelchair.
