Join Historian Nial Stewart as he explores the Medieval heritage of Kinsale town!
Very little is known about Medieval Kinsale. This lecture brings together what Nial's research has discovered so far. Using the very limited sources available, it will give an overview of the town during that period, focusing on the buildings, families, position of the Gaelic Irish and the economy. It will also discuss how, and when, the Medieval period ended in the town.
