Maharees Currach Making Workshop with the O'Leary Family

Join Maharees Conservation Association in a currach-making demonstration. Discover this centuries old tradition which has been passed down from generation to generation from the O'Leary family who have made currachs in Maharees for five generations. Learn how the currachs connected and sustained the communities living in Maharees and around the Tralee Bay area. This event will be held behind Spillane's Bar. Keep an eye on our social media channels for updates. As parking is limited in Fahamore, we encourage attendees to carpool/walk/cycle to the event.
