Talk on the History and Business of Weaving from McNutt of Donegal

Join us at Central Library on Tuesday 19th of August 2025 where Stacey and William McNutt will provide a talk on the history of McNutt of Donegal since it’s establishment up to the present day.

McNutt of Donegal is an Irish, third generation, family-owned business creating homewares and fashion accessories using the world's most luxurious wool and linen yarns. Stacey and William will outline the developments and innovations of the company to continue the tradition of weaving while continually providing employment in Donegal. A history of the mill will be provided and the implementation of measures to improve sustainability will be discussed. McNutt of Donegal’s mission is to ensure that “nothing feels better” than the pieces they create and that their processes ensure that “nothing is made better”.
