In every ripple, every path and every steeple is a story . Join us for our walk,talk and boat trip.

Follow the path of St Diarmuid (540AD)
Event will commence with a short guided looped walk from Portrun Harbour passing by St Diarmuid's Holy Well and St Diarmuid's Church.
Walk will be followed by a boat trip on Lough Ree, boat trip will loop around Inchcleraun (Quaker Island). The Island has strong links with St Diarmuid who attracted disciples from all over Ireland, the most famous among them was St Ciaran who went on to found his own monastery at Clonmacnoise.

Must be pre booked and paid in advance

Numbers are limited and allocated on a first come basis to those who have paid
