Heritage Week Documentary Release by Good Day Cork
It’s easy to think of Cork City as a fairly homogeneous group but its history is much more diverse and international than we may think.
Our audio documentary “Living Heritage’ explores the experiences of residents in Cork from varied cultural background and how their own traditions have fused with the locality.
Everyone is invited to a listening cafe for the release of our audio documentary at the wonderful Test Site on Kryl’s Quay, Cork city centre. There will also be a discussion on this theme.
Sat 17th Aug. Doors open at 1:30pm and we will begin at 2pm.
This is a free event but booking is essential to receive updates about the event.
‘Living Heritage’ is produced and published by Good Day Cork. The documentary has been created with support from Local Community Heritage and Biodiversity Grant Scheme from Cork City Council.
