It's Heritage Open Doors and your chance to visit Kerry County Museum free of charge all day Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 August to kick-start National Heritage Week. Please note that entry to the museum is via the Tourist Information Office on those days. Kerry County Museum is a vibrant, family-friendly museum located in the Ashe Memorial Hall, adjacent to Tralee Town Park. With five galleries to explore, the museum offers a world of treasure and trails for the enjoyment of locals and tourists alike. Highlights include the epic story of Antarctic exploration as told in the Tom Crean Polar Room, and the Medieval Experience, a recreation of Tralee in the year 1450, complete with the sights, sounds and smells.
