Join IADT to celebrate Heritage Week 2025 at the IADT Carnegie Hub, situated in the Carnegie Library, Georges Street Lower in Dún Laoghaire.

Whether you’re a heritage buff, a digital creator, or just up for trying something new, this fun and friendly workshop will open your eyes to a whole new way of seeing the world. Learn new skills with our hands-on, beginner-friendly 360° Photography Workshop This will be a practical hands-on session designed especially for beginners and curious creatives.

Over the course of the workshop, you will be introduced to 360° photography and video: what it is, how it works, and what you can use it for. These images and videos can be used for virtual tours, immersive storytelling, education, site documentation or to up your Instagram game!

Cameras will be provided so all you need to bring curiosity, creativity and a smartphone. Tips and tricks to help you shoot like a pro. Then, it’s time to explore! Participants will go out to photograph a local heritage site putting the theory into practice. Back in the workshop space, you will learn how to edit, process, and publish your images, including how to share them on platforms like Google Maps or social media platforms.

No prior experience is required, just curiosity, creativity and a smartphone.

Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Booking necessary.
