Tomás MacUileagóid has been making harps for 20 years. He learned the craft of harp making from Colm Ó Meachair, and continues to restore Colm’s work, as well as making commissioned harps under his 'Eala Harps' label. He also specialised in the repair and restoration of Irish lever harps.
Tomás will be giving a presentation on this Unesco-recognised craft, with demonstrations by harper Aisling Ennis.
The event will take place in the Irish Traditional Music Archive's Library. Entry is free.
