Guided house tour of Killua Castle and its rich history!

Killua Castle is a historic castle located in the most romantic demesne in Ireland with links to Sir Walter Raleigh and Lawrence of Arabia. The castle, which long lay in ruins, has been beatuiful;ly restored by the Krause family. It is now dedicated to expressing and sharing the family's greatest passions: history, art, environmental conservation, regenerative farming and gastronomy.

Tour of the house will take in the history of the house, the exhaustive restoration that was done by the Krause family and the future of the estate through an environmental lens.

This is a very rare tour to celebrate Heritage Open Doors in association with Historic Houses of Ireland. It will open the doors on one of Ireland's most stunning castles and is given by local historian Margaret Reilly.
