Gormanston - Our Stories

The event will consist of the screening of a short film. The film captures through digital means a living record of the unique oral heritage of older residents in Gormanston. It celebrates the lives of older members of the community and records for posterity and future generations, the stories and history of the village before they are lost. It is also a wonderful opportunity for some of the community to get to know their older neighbours, and to listen and learn from the stories and history that they hear and see. The event will conclude with refreshments.
