Glendalough in LEGO Workshops for Neurodivergent Families

A facilitation of two LEGO workshops at Glendalough Visitor Centre OPW, linking into Heritage Week and the LEGO model of Glendalough on display at the centre. The workshops will be open to families with neurodivergent children aged 7+. Each workshop will include 4 themed, autism friendly activities desigend to enable the interpretation of Glendalough's history and architecture in a fun, creative way. Examples include "Build a High Cross" and "Mini Medieval Models". Funded by the OPW in association with the Glendalough Heritage Forum, the Heritage Council and Wicklow County Council.
Booking will be required; participants book as family groups which can be any configuration up to 4 people. There must be at least one adult and one child per group.
Being mindful of sensory issues (eg noise levels), a maximum of 28 people can be facilitated per workshop (7 groups of 4).
Please note that there are daily parking charges in Glendalough ranging from €4 to €5. Please arrive in good time as finding parking in Glendaough at the weekends can be a challenge.
