Want to explore Cork City's rocks and see how its geology, nature and history all come together?

Join us on the 16th of August at 12pm for an in-person and interactive tour through the city looking at evidence of Cork's very deep and ancient past. Its history stretches 380 million years back in time, and we will see plenty of evidence of past life and landscapes in Cork's Rebel rocks!

The tour will start from the Cork City Council building on Anglesea Street - a 3 kilometres adventure over 2 and a half hours' time period. Note that we will be walking up Patrick's Hill at some point during the tour. It's recommended to bring a bottle of water, your phone and some snacks.

Feel welcome to join this free tour, though registration is required. Contact motion@thomasheising.ie to be posted the registration link when it's up.
