Gardening for Wildlife Event

16 August, 11am - 2pm

  • Finnor, Roscommon
  • Details upon registration
  • Co. Roscommon

Take a wander with two experienced wildlife guides around a garden in progress, and learn more about the habitat building blocks that make homes for our biodiversity.

Two experienced members of the Leitrim Environmental Network will guide us through a garden where we will look at habitats, shelter and other things that pollinators and wildlife need to thrive. And maybe we will meet some of the inhabitants.

This is an experience that will hopefully inspire you to enhance your own little place in the world for wildlife.

- We will have lunch together and have plenty of time for questions. Let us know in advance if you have any special dietary needs.
- Please wear sturdy footwear and bring warm/waterproof clothing if needed.
- This event is free and lunch is included. If you find you cannot attend, please let us know at least a day before and we can fill your place with someone else.
- Parking will be in the farmyard next door. Please carshare if you know someone else who is going.

This event is made possible with funding under the Climate Actions Work Engagement Fund via The Community Foundation Ireland. Leitrim Environmental Network is grateful to receive this funding to help bring more awareness to the areas of climate change, biodiversity and conservation.
