Flann to Fuller - Kilflynn Through the Ages

16 August, 2:30pm - 5pm

  • St Columba's Heritage Centre
  • Kilflynn, County Kerry
  • V92 X272
  • Co. Kerry

Led by Dr John Flaherty and Dr Richard McElligott

This event includes a walk of about 500m to Tobar Flainn. There is an opportunity for a limited number of cars to drive closer, but there is still a 150m walk over a gravel pathway. For those who might be interested, we will subequently drive about 2km to the site of Crotta house, where Kitchener spent time as a child. It is a short distance from the R557 between Abbeydorney and Lixnaw, which will take one to either Tralee or Listowel. We hope to organise music or recitation and refreshments.

Please note that KAHS walks typically take 2-3 hours. The end time is approximate.

We would appreciate your wearing closed-toed walking shoes and outerwear suitable to the weather. Thank you.
