On Saturday 17th August at 2pm Cobh Library historian Tim McCoy will hold a talk looking at the life of the famous Annie Moore, forever immortalised as the first person processed through Ellis Island in New York.
The talk will look at what happened to Annie once she landed in America including a fascinating case of mistaken identity. This Heritage Week 2024 event is one not to be missed.
