Discover the magic of transforming fluffy Merino wool fibres into beautiful three-dimensional vessels through the engaging process of wet felting. Under the guidance of Feltmakers Ireland guild members, you'll create your own masterpiece using soap, water, and your hands.
Curious about sheep and Irish wool varieties? Explore the unique reactions of different Irish wool types that have been needle and wet felted. Don’t miss the chance to browse and purchase our new book, 'Exploring Irish Wool for Feltmakin'g, a rich resource on forty breeds of Irish-raised sheep.
Marvel at a display of inspiring felted artworks and wearables crafted by our talented members, showcasing the beauty and versatility of feltmaking.
Dublin: Join us on the 18th of August from 11 AM to 3 PM at the CIE Sports Hall in Inchicore. Free parking is available, and it’s easily accessible by public transit. Take the G1 or G2 bus from the city centre, exit at Stop Number 7889 on Sarsfield Road, and walk through the ‘hole’ in the wall to Inchicore Terrace.
Kilbeggan, Co Westmeath: Join us on the 25th of August from 11 AM to 3 PM at St James Hall, with ample free parking.
