
Family Fun Event at the Arra River, Demesne, Newcastle West
Newcastle West Tidy Towns and the Local Authorities Water Programme (LAWPRO)/ Clár Uiscí na nÚdarás Áitiúil present a Family Fun Event for National Heritage Week. Something for all ages, learning about biodiversity in the Arra River (also known as the Doally River) while having fun in the Demesne, Newcastle West. Walk along the river with biodiversity expert, Ruairí Ó Conchúir, Community Water Officer, Clare and Limerick. Find out more about the wealth of flora and fauna there.
Drawings of the wildlife will be available for children to colour. A Face Painter will concentrate on biodiversity designs. Trad musicians will add to the atmosphere. Sweets and treats as well.
