Family Friendly Gathering River Arra Newcastle West

Newcastle West Tidy Towns and the Local Authorities Water Programme (LAWPRO) / Clár Uisci na nÚdarás present a Family Fun Event for National Heritage Week. Something for all ages learning about the biodiversity in the River Arra, Newcastle West while having fun. Walk along the river North Quay to South Quay with Biodiversity Expert Colum Walsh, Community Water Officer, Clare and Limerick. Find out about the wealth of flora and fauna there.
Drawings of wildlife will be available for children to colour. Biodiversity deisgns will be featured by a Face Painter. Sweets and treats as well.
All for free!

Event starts at North Quay, Newcastle West. Then walk along the riverside to South Quay/Ducks' Island.
