Join with the intrepid Eanna Ni Lamhna, educator, broadcaster, hosted by the Local Authorities Waters Programme, for a river adventure on the beautiful river Barrow as it flows through the medieval town of Graignamanagh and see also the wildlife of the Duiske River at it joins the River Barrow just below the bridge of Graignamangh, be regaled by stories of wildlife and birdlife as Eanna explores a portion of the Barrow Valley for Sunday Water Heritage Day 20th Aug. If you are joining the walk please assemble at the Outdoor Activities Hub, at approx. 2.15pm
Please join Eanna as she walks through the town recounting her stories of wildlife and biodiversity, this event is also taking place during Town of Books festival, and Eanna has written many books about our natural world and indeed the challenges facing mankind from climate change, biodiversity loss and declining water quality.
