During this tour you get to experience some of the fragrances of our medieval past.
Inspired by the connection we have between our sense of smell and past memories, and our community who shared some of their stories with us.
Scent can invoke such strong memories, that you get to go back in time, and relive those memories.
It started with the community, from local shop keepers to community groups and summer schools sharing their stories on what scents bring them back to good memories in their past from the smell of Boxty to the smell of long grass in summer.
