Come on a walking tour of Castledermot with local archaeologist Dr Sharon Greene and learn about what evidence has survived to tell us about its medieval origins. The tour includes upstanding monuments, like the high crosses and round tower of St James', the Franciscan Friary and part of the medieval town wall, as well as information about what excavations and surveys in the town have discovered below the surface.
Parking available in adjacent carpark of Castledermot Community Centre (R14 YF61).
