The Cork LGBT Archive gathers, preserves and shares the rich history of Cork's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities. The Cork LGBT Archive makes a wide range of historical materials available and accessible for the general public, students, researchers and activists, through our digital archive, physical collection and through publications, exhibitions, documentaries, walking tours and talks.
The Cork LGBT Archive will host an Open Day at our workspace in Crawford Business Park on Saturday 16th August. We will have Cork LGBT history Exhibitions on display and archival materials for you to explore. Our volunteers will be on hand to answer your questions. People are welcome to bring items to donate to the Cork LGBT Archive. If you would rather not donate the items, we can scan or photograph them and return them to you on the day.
