Connections to Nature and Wellbeing via the Infinity Woodland Path

The event will be connecting citizens to nature, walking the route of the infinity Woodland Path reaching out to the local parish grounds. Providing an opportunity for all age groups to network, poets, naturalists, musicians, local community, Milford care centre residents and staff, other pastoral groups with the Diocese aiming to provide 30% of church grounds to nature by 2030 etc.

General outline of the event
Meet Outdoors at the Little Company of Mary Infinity Woodland Pathway
18:45 – Music on arrival.
19:00 - Introduction by Sr Brigid of the Little Company of Mary
19.05 - Recitation – “When I am among the Trees” by Mary Oliver
19:10 – Guided walk through the Infinity Woodland Pathway with John Le Gear this will include poetry recitations

20:00 – Attitude of Gratitude – “Litany of Thanks for Trees” (Author Unknown) will bring the Infinity Woodland Pathway walk to an end.
20:05 – Walk to Milford Parish Church Grounds for an introduction to their 30% by 2030 Biodiversity Initiative
20:30 – Tea and Talk in the John Bosco Centre 5 minute walk from the Infinity Woodland Path – Music on arrival
- 15 mins – The importance of nature for healing and wellbeing.
- 20 mins - Opportunity Other 30% by 2030 groups share their projects.
- 10 mins --Flower Insect Timed Counts
21:30 – Ends with thanking everyone who participated.
