A Nature-Based Journey of the Glenaniff River at Fowleys Falls
Connections, routes & networks: A nature-based journey of the Glenaniff river at Fowleys Falls.
You are invited to come and learn more about the history and ecology of this river system while experiencing the beauty and richness of the area.
Ana-Maria, an experienced forest bathing guide and wellness practitioner, will facilitate you to connect with the natural biodiversity of the Fowleys falls area with a special focus on the element of water.
Expect to be guided in connecting deeper to nature through your sense of sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. This experience would be very beneficial for people looking to slow down and take some respite from their busy lives, and/or aiming to build their connection to the natural world.
The practice of forest bathing has been shown to be helpful with difficulties like anxiety, depression, burnout, insomnia, high blood pressure, asthma, blood sugar, and even cancer.
This free event will take 2 hours and will involve a few natured-based invitations, meditative experiences, and sharing with others in a circle.
Meet at the car park at the Organic Centre. Return afterwards to the Organic Centre where a light lunch including teas/coffees/soup will be available to buy.
