Connections & Routes Clashmore and Kinsalebeg

Clashmore Kinsalebeg Heritage Group are working on and publishing aspects of cultural, built and natural heritage of the parish. This year the focus of our event for Heritage Week will be a photographic exhibition and a presentation of the ongoing project The Townland Survey of the Parish of Clashmore and Kinsalebeg.
Great progress has been made on gathering information from residents of the townlands on field names, place names and family names and publishing much of this information on Clashmore & Kinsalebeg Heritage Group (Townland Survey) (logainm.ie).
There will be a special focus on the River Blackwater, one of the most important routes of the area
