Connecting Tramore River Communities
22 August, 6pm - 8:30pm
- Tramore River Greenway, Kinsale Road (next to Harvey Norman)
- T12 CX96
- Co. Cork City
The Tramore River Greenway connects the communities of Turners Cross/Ballyphehane with Togher. This event celebrates the links between these communities and their river. We will mark the official launch of our new signs which showcase biodiversity along the river as we walk the greenway. The event begins at 6pm at the Harvey Norman entrance to the greenway and will finish at the Togher end. Here there will be talks on nature and local history. The event will end with music and a wine reception in Togher Community Centre.
Anyone who would prefer not to walk can join us for the main event at the Togher end of the Tramore River Greenway at 7pm. This will be held at the new biodiversity signs by the entrance opposite Togher Community Centre (Eircode T12 C8VW).
If joining us for the walk, wear comfortable shoes. The walk is approximately 2km long. The ground may be uneven and muddy in some places.
Tá fáilte roimh chách chun Abhainn na Trá Móire a cheiliúradh. 'Éist le glór na habhann is gheobhair breac'.
This event is a collaboration between Turners Cross Climate Action Group and Togher Tidy Towns.
