Wonderful West Kerry.

A day of creativity with international sculptor Ben Dearnley.

at
An Turret Hall, Séipéal na Carraige, Parish of Ballyferriter,V92 R866

Come and join in with this creative days celebration of West Kerry’s hedgerows and the animals found within.

This 1 day workshop is open for all ages (under 16’s to be accompanied by an adult) where together we will explore some of the local flora and fauna of this region. Many of these old hedgerows form part of the foundations of this landscape and today we will sketch and paint and create images of what we see as well as help make a sculpture from recycled materials of one of the animals found here too.

This day’s workshop is designed to allow visitors attending to spend just a few minutes, or maybe a few hours in this creative process. You can drop in and out as you like. All the works made during the day will form part of one large collage for the 2d works and the completion of the animal sculpture.

Today is a special day where we can spend a little time focusing on things which we normally just pass by on our way to somewhere else.

This workshop is suitable for all ages, for locals and visitors alike and the works will form part of an ongoing exhibition throughout Kerry later in the year.
