Canal Cruise to the Leinster Aqueduct

Return cruise to the Leinster Aqueduct on a traditional canal barge from Sallins on the Grand Canal.

We stop at the Aqueduct, which spans the Liffey carrying the Grand Canal over the river since 1783, where the skipper will give a history talk on the development of the Grand Canal project and the goods that were transported, the construction of the Aqueduct, and the hard-working Navies, Bargees, and horses that ruled the towpath. Suitable for all ages!
