Bryophyte workshop: sphagnum moss identification

Dr Joanne Denyer (bryologist) will run a day-long bryophyte workshop which will be a mixture of indoor and field-based sessions. It will focus on identifying sphagnum mosses and other bryophytes of lowland blanket bog. This workshop is aimed at beginners/improvers, particularly those who might be involved in working on blanket bog ecology and/or peatland restoration. The content of the workshop will be subject to variation depending on the weather.
