Boat Strand Nature
Explore the rocky shore, dunes and grasslands around the boat strand with NatureNorthWest.
Meeting at the pier at Boat Strand beach, we will explore what survives and thrives in the tidal zones along the rocky shores, followed by an exploration of how sand dunes form, and the life these vital habitats support. Be prepared to find some fascinating creatures, unusual plants and hunt for butterflies! Suitable for 8 years and upwards, boots and raingear advisable, no dogs please.
