Bilingual Storytelling: the Legend of the Lough in English & Cantonese

Cantonese in Ireland is presenting to you the enchanting Irish legend of the Lough in both English and Cantonese.

This bilingual storytelling will be held in Cork City Library at 11-11.45am on 13th August, 2022 (Saturday).

Why not join us for some fun and learn about this Irish legend in a new language?

Everyone is welcome, especially those aged from 5-9.

Our storyteller, Peg, is an experienced school teacher and a Cantonese children literature writer. After the story, we will learn how to write a Traditional Chinese character and do some simple arts and crafts.

Cantonese is the second most spoken language in now China. Cantonese and Traditional Chinese are widely used in Hong Kong, Macau and overseas Chinese communities. The language is witty and colourful. After a taste of it, you surely will love this language.
