Architectural Tour of Newbridge House

Join architectural historian and curator of Newbridge House, Cathal Dowd Smith for this behind the scenes tour uncovering the architectural gem that is Newbridge House. Built to designs by renowned architect James Gibbs, his only known work in Ireland, this tour will uncover the idiosyncrasies of Newbridge's design. Exploring the eighteenth century building trade and the materiality of Newbridge House as executed as well as revealing recent conservation work to the house's facade, roof and windows.
