Archaeology at Swords Castle

An essential part of the dig process is post-excavation. Join us for Drumanagh Post-Excavation Week 2 at Swords Castle. We were very lucky to recover a huge amount of Iron Age/Roman ecofacts-animal bone, shell etc. during this year’s Digging Drumanagh excavation-and we now need to wash and process them. Take part (over 18s only) or come along meet our zooarchaeologist Siobhan Duffy and see what we found.
