Join us for an evening with ANU Productions, the acclaimed theatre company known for immersive, site-specific work that brings history to life in unexpected places.
Since 2020, ANU has partnered with Dublin Port to create a series of powerful, historically grounded performances exploring themes of labour, conflict, memory, and identity.
In this special talk, theatre-maker and ANU co-founder Louise Lowe will discuss the company’s creative approach to working within the living, industrial landscape of Dublin Port, and how archival research, site, and community engagement inform their process.

Canaries (2020) – Created as part of The Pumphouse Presents, this short film follows two women working in the munitions factory during WWI.
The Book of Names (2021) – A collaboration with Landmark exploring secrecy and espionage during the War of Independence.
Back Home to a Wonderful Time (2022) – Marking the centenary of the British Army’s withdrawal, this site-specific piece reflects on the end of colonial rul
