North Wall Chubbs Yard

A historical walk and talk through Chubs Yard and Grain Store

16 August, 11:30am - 12:30pm

  • Carpark of the Fishery

  • Co. Kerry

A special guided walk will take participants through the historic complex once part of the Godfrey Estate, dating back to around 1750. The event will explore the former Chubb’s Yard—an enclosed space featuring several notable stone buildings, including a possible former granary. Along the way, we will provide an interpretive overview of the site’s history, architecture, and its significance as one of the last remaining links to Killorglin’s estate-era parkland. The walk highlights the unique heritage value of these structures and discusses future plans to make the area accessible to the public as part of the new Town Park.
