A Gallery-based workshop led by artists Caoimhe O’Dwyer and Jennifer Slater
Join us for a morning of art and creativity in collaboration introducing babies and toddlers to creativity and play, and a warm welcome to parents and guardians as you navigate parenthood.
This free taster workshop gives you a sense of our new monthly programme.
This informal workshop offers a creative and social space where you and your little ones can explore the gallery exhibitions and themes the exhibitions prompt. Enjoy being introduced and guided to the exhibition followed by some creating and making with your toddler.
The exhibition focus is Embracing Vision: 100 Years of the Friends of the National Collections exhibition featuring the work of historic and contemporary artists from Evie Hone and Sylvia Cooke-Collis to Francis Matthews and Anna O’Leary, across watercolour on paper, photography and oil on canvas, and with an emphasis on landscape and identity.
These activities are especially designed to go at your child’s pace so as to capture their imagination whilst having fun and learning new techniques in the welcoming environment of Highlanes Gallery.
All materials provided.
