
175 Years of Navan Railway
2025 marks 175 years since the opening of the railway at Navan, Co. Meath on 15th February 1850. 175 Years of Navan Railway is a new and exciting photographic exhibition which celebrates the history and architecture of Navan's Railway Street Station. The exhibition will run from 20th - 24th August in the Solstice Arts Centre, Railway Street, Navan. There will be an official launch on 20th August from 6.30pm with a guest lecture at 7pm given by railway architectural historian and exhibition curator, Dr Siobhan Osgood. All are completely free and open to all, but please do book for the lecture to secure your seat as places are limited!
The exhibition is on open display in the Solstice Cafe and will be open to all during opening hours. Feel free to drop in at any time, pick up an information leaflet, and learn all about Navan's railway history.
