Templenaskellig is Glendalough's inaccessible 'hidden jewel' and will be the focus of this exhibition, highlighting it's history through excavation excerpts, photographs, maps, illustrations and more!
Templenaskellig is the least visited of Glendalough's 'Seven Churches'. It sits high above the water on the Southside of the Upper Lake and is only accessible by boat. For this reason, visitors to the valley do not gain an understanding or appreciation of Glendalough's 'hidden jewel'. This event will bring Templenaskellig to the visitor, showcasing images, illustrations, excavation reports, maps and much more to finally make this beautiful Church accessible to all!
