Neil Plunkett O'Boyle (1898-1923), born in Lackenagh, Burtonport, fought in the War of Independence and Civil War and was killed in Wicklow, 15th May 1923. A plaque to his memory will be unveiled.

The plaque will be unveiled by John Columba Boyle. The Memorial has been funded locally by volunteers. Transport to and from the Memorial site will be provided from Burtonport Community Centre, F94 VW95. Refreshemnts will be provided at the Centre afterwards.
