A week long progressive demonstration of the digitisation and conservation for two wooden Hunt Museum objects: Apollo and Balthasar. People can interact with the experts and watch how it is done.

Learn about 3D digitisation and conservation by watching experts work on Apollo, the Classical god of light, poetry, music, healing and prophecy and his small Magi friend at the Hunt Museum, Balthasar, who is in serious need of a scan and health check. As the week progresses, so will the work. Likely schedule: Day 1 Balthasar Laser Scanning & Digitisation, Day 2 Packing of Balthasar for off-site specialist conservation, scanning of Apollo, Day 3 -5 Conservation of Apollo on site.
